Our Story
In 2022, Adel Al-Zouaghi, founder and CEO of LEDA SCENTS, reconnected with an old friend who had been a traditional perfumer in Libya, North Africa. This reunion sparked a shared passion for the art of Eastern perfumery, blending heritage, tradition, and craftsmanship. Inspired by this encounter, Adel returned to Canada carrying carefully crafted perfume samples and mixtures, eager to share the rich, authentic scents of the East with a modern audience.
The response was overwhelmingly positive — city dwellers and fragrance enthusiasts alike were captivated by the depth, warmth, and uniqueness of these traditional perfumes.
